QUIFLEX® decoupling on dock levellers and steel rails

The Problem

Dock levellers in logistics are exposed to extreme loads. The entire traffic of goods, which is otherwise distributed throughout the hall, converges here. In addition, there are extreme temperature differences between inside and outside as well as the fact that different materials meet, in most cases steel and concrete. Vibrations that occur when driving over them and shocks caused by approaching trucks do the rest.

Steel rails on joint constructions or around scales, which cannot be removed because of their size, cause similar problems. This leads to increased breakouts at the transition, resulting in wear and tear on pallet trucks, longer loading times and costs for falling goods.

The Solution

The QUIFLEX® decoupling joints

Since the loads at the transitions cannot be reduced, only a flexible design can permanently absorb the vibrations and temperature fluctuations. The QUIFLEX® liquid decoupling system is installed directly on site according to your needs. Due to the adaptable design and its permanently viscoelastic properties, repairs at the transitions are a thing of the past.

The advantages

Can be driven over completely vibration-free

Shock and vibration decoupling of the dock levellers

No ongoing maintenance and renovation costs

Faster loading times due to full drive-over speed

Reduced tire wear

Reduction of maintenance costs on industrial trucks

No problem with high temperature fluctuations

Reduction of vibration load for man and machine
